Artist's Description
Michael Schumacher was already a Double World Champion with Benetton before joining Ferrari in 1996. Finishing third in the Drivers' Championship that year, his optimism, dedication, technical skill and incredible trackcraft, signalled the beginning of a Ferrari renaissance that was to sweep all before it. The consummate team-builder, Michael Schumacher inspired Scuderia Ferrari and rewarded them with a level of commitment in the cockpit that was awe-inspiring and dominant for more than a decade. He became the greatest record-breaker in the history of any sport and put Ferrari back on top with a series of legendary performances that it is hard to imagine will ever be equalled, or even approached.
