Artist's Description
BROTHERS IN ARMS San Marino 2001, Ralf Schumacher achieves his first Grand Prix victory in dominant style leading every lap with his Williams-BMW at Imola. Older brother Michael was the first to congratulate Ralf, the pair are the only siblings to win Formula One Grand Prix races. Inspired by press photographs of the event; this is a freehand watercolour sketch. I enjoy painting logos and drapery too. Adding the German National Flag as a backdrop completed the image for me. What a season that was!
